Container make-over

This project required me to make-over containers for a house sale in March. Summer bedding plants were not yet available so I was able to consider plants I might not usually use, with very pleasing results!

Window Boxes

These boxes were made for a fitness studio. The aspect of the window was north-facing and without much sunlight but there are appropriate plants which will cope with these conditions. I was keen to use herbs and a simple green and white pallet. Pineapple or curly Mint, Lemon Verbena, Bay and Curly Parsley all do well, mixed in with some evergreen ferns and ivies which help out during the winter months. The Marguerittes do need some maintenance for summer interest, but they cope fairly well and provide beautiful white flowers to set off the herbs.
